Rome, Georgia Police are investigating two shooting incidents that took place in South Rome this week.
According to incident reports officers responded to Floyd Medical Center in reference to a gunshot victim, possibly related to a “shots fired” call on Harper Avenue – on Wednesday. However, the man that was shot in the calf and ankle, was uncooperative with the investigation.
Meanwhile, a vehicle on Nixon Avenue was struck by gunfire. The report states that bullets traveled through the rear windshield – and the front passenger seat headrest and then out of the front windshield; it appeared a bullet had struck the front windshield of the Nissan Rogue – but did not penetrate it.
Both incidents remain under investigation.
