In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

JUSTIN SMITH, age 29 from Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Failure to Appear on the prior charge of Theft of Property 1st Degree;

JUSTIN CUNNINGHAM, age 42 of Centre, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, on charges of Drug Trafficking/Methamphetamine, Drug Trafficking/Fentanyl, the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia/on two counts, Certain Persons Forbidden to Carry a Firearm, Trafficking of Methamphetamine, Tampering with Physical Evidence – also Attempting to Elude and Criminal Littering;

RALPH SWAFFORD, 54 from Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Failure to Appear on previous counts of Improper Lane Change – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance – Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Expired Tag – and also with the Failure to Display Insurance;

And

ANTHONY PALMOR, age 54 of Piedmont was arrested by Centre Police on the charges of – Failure to Appear/Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, and also with the Failure to Appear/Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 103 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
