In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

GARY DOWDY – age 66 from Weaver, Alabama – arrested by the Alabama Department of Public Safety, DUI/Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol;

MATTHEW SANDIFER, age 40, of Cullman, Alabama – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Probation Revocation;

BRYAN FULGHAM age 43 from Brandon, Mississippi – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

And

TED KINARD, age 49 from Mantice, Mississippi, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 105 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
