Labor Day Safety

Law Enforcement Officials are all out in force today (Monday) looking for impaired drivers during the 78-hour Labor Day Holiday “weekend travel period” that wraps up at midnight tonight.   Sadly, during the 2023 Labor Day Holiday – there were a large number of accidents, injuries and deaths.

EVERYONE should exercise GREAT care during the time and do your part to help make it a SAFE Holiday Travel Season for ALL.

“We urge drivers to prioritize safety for themselves, for any passengers – and  the motoring public – and this means buckling up, ensuring that all children are properly restrained, distractions are minimized and staying focused on the road plus making responsible decisions is all important.”

All of us at WEIS Radio want everyone to arrive SAFELY, and we urge that all drivers do their part to keep our roadways safe.
