In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

DYLAN HELMS, age 25 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for Failure to Appear/Domestic Violence 3rd Degree;

GAYLE PETERSON, age 52 of Leesburg – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with Failure to Appear/Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, and also Failure to Appear/Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

NICHOLAS MARBUT, age 39 of Hokes Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Conditional Release Violation;

KAYLA THOMAS, age 35, from Lyerly, Georgia – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Conditional Release Violation;

And

ALLISON NICHOLS age 31 of Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with DUI/Driving Under the Influence.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 105 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
