Rome, Georgia Police Report Homicide on Reynolds Street
Rome Police are still investigating a homicide in North Rome on Tuesday – according to a news release – emergency personnel were dispatched to the 300 block of Reynolds Street at around 3:50pm, and found a 56-year-old man sitting in a vehicle – dead from a gunshot wound. Shortly after that – a 21-year-old man matching the suspect’s description given by eyewitnesses – was detained nearby.
At this time – the suspect has been charged with Aggravated Assault AND Murder – as the investigation is on-going, The names of the deceased and the suspect are not being released at this time.
