A Leesburg, Alabama man was recently booked into the Floyd County Jail in neighboring Georgia, on a felony warrant – charging him with Theft by Taking.
According to the warrant, 32-year-old Alex Lamar Poole, took a 2022 Kia KS valued at $34,000 – from a location on John Davenport Drive in Rome, back on April 15th. He then reportedly drove that vehicle across the state line into Cherokee County (Alabama) – prior to being ID’d and charged in the case.
