PIEDMONT – The Cedar Bluff Lady Tigers swept a pair of volleyball matches at Piedmont on Tuesday. The Lady Tigers defeated Weaver 25-20, 25-21 and beat Piedmont 25-23, 25-22.
In the win over Weaver, Rylie Walker contributed 11 assists, a kill and three aces. Kindal Grace posted nine kills and five digs. Anslee Evans added four kills and three blocks. Janaya Higgins had five kills. Logan Goza delivered a kill and a pair of aces. Blakelea Hall came away with four digs.
Against Piedmont, Walker managed 15 assists. Grace collected 12 kills, a block and two digs. Evans contributed two kills, a block and a dig. Higgins came away with four kills and five aces. Hall had 3 digs and Goza finished with a pair of aces.
Cedar Bluff hosts Sand Rock on Sept. 5.
