COOSA, Ga. – The Sand Rock Lady Wildcats picked up their first volleyball win over the season at the Coosa Invitational Tournament in Georgia on Saturday. They defeated the host Lady Eagles 25-12, 25-22. Sand Rock also dropped matches to Lafayette (14-25, 15-25), Darlington (12-25, 19-25) and Pepperell (18-25, 23-25).
Caitlyn Lynch posted 14 kills and seven blocks for the Lady Wildcats (1-5) on the day. Kailee Patterson contributed 13 kills and six aces. Maddie Clanton came away with 46 assists and 23 digs. Molly Grace Lay delivered 38 digs. Paisley Ford had 12 kills and Peyton Johnson finished with 11 kills.
Sand Rock hosts Spring Garden and Ider on Monday.
