This week’s WEIS Radio Unsung Hero of the Week is Carl “Bubba” Hinton, the City Clerk for the City of Piedmont, Alabama.

Hinton, has been the City Clerk for three years and is instrumental making sure the City Council stays on track with expenditures for the city.

His family moved to Piedmont when he was in the 7th grade, so he knows the City of Piedmont and it’s history well. He is a graduate of Piedmont High School, along with being a 2002 graduate of Jacksonville State with a degree in Administration. His wife’s name is Tonya, and they have three daughters: Kaley Roberts, Ashlyn Ryan, Jordan, and two grandchildren.

WEIS Radio asked Hinton what is the best part of his job and he said he loves Piedmont and wants to be part of it’s growth. Carl “Bubba” Hinton is informative and does a thorough and comprehensive job for the City of Piedmont. The city of Piedmont is very fortunate to have him as the City Clerk.
