Well, many Alabamians were treated to a small taste of fall temperatures this (Wednesday) morning.
According to the National Weather Service, several spots dipped into the 50’s overnight, and many others were comfortably in the 60’s.
Here were some temperatures as of 6:00am for a few Alabama cities:

* Anniston: 62
* Birmingham: 63
* Dothan: 70
* Eufaula: 68
* Evergreen: 63
* Gadsden: 57
* Huntsville: 58
* Mobile: 70
* Montgomery: 67
* Muscle Shoals: 62
* Sylacauga: 63
* Talladega: 59
* Tuscaloosa: 66
Another warm day is in the forecast today BUT no heat advisories will be in effect.
Another cool night is in the forecast for Alabama – but, it won’t be as cool as last night. One or two spots may get into the 50’s again but lows in the 60’s will be more prevalent – with areas in south Alabama only getting to near 70.
High temperatures will be in the 80’s and low 90’s – for the remainder of the work week BUT the weather service says that the mid-90’s will make a return to some areas by Sunday and early next week.
The long-range forecast from the Climate Prediction Center suggests that Alabama will have a really good chance for above-average temperatures, during the rest of the month
