Heavy rains and high winds hit Cherokee County, and surrounding areas, yet again on Saturday afternoon.
The National Weather Service issued a “Severe Thunderstorm Warning”, as a strong storm front made its way across both HERE and also SEVERAL surrounding counties during the late-afternoon. Several trees were once again downed during the height of that front and again fortunately – we had no reports of anyone being injured as a result of the situation. Temperatures rose dramatically during the day, helping to initiate much of that severe weather.
