WEIS Radio Unsung Hero of the Week

This week’s WEIS Radio Unsung Hero of the Week is the Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent at Cherokee County Board of Education Deneen Jimmerson. When I first starting covering the Cherokee County Schools Board Meetings, she was very helpful with getting myself and anyone who needed the pertinent information from the meetings.

Deneen has been in with the  Cherokee County school system since April 2000 for a total of 24 years. She told WEIS Radio she loves working with the people with Cherokee County School system and Cherokee County.

Deneen is a graduate of Sand Rock High School and Gadsden State Community College in Centre. She is a great representative for the Cherokee County Schools system, and they’re fortunate to have her as an employee. She’s an excellent representative for Cherokee County, and that is why she is the WEIS Radio Unsung Hero of the Week.

If you would like to drop me a line telling who you feel is a possible unsung hero, email me at weisnews@weisradio.com C/O David Mad Dog DeMarco.
