In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

SHEDRICK HILL, age 43 of Centre, was arrested by Centre Police, charged with Failure to Appear/Driving While License Suspended;

NICHOLAS LEE, 26 from Centre arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office charged with Domestic Violence 3rd Degree and Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree;

HEATHER ROSSER age 36 of Piedmont – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with Failure to Appear/Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance;

JACOB SMITH – age 38 of Leesburg was arrested by Leesburg Police – and charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

And

JOSHUA MEADOWS – 44 of Fort Payne – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and was charged with Unlawful Distribution of Controlled Substance.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 103 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
