During the Wednesday afternoon Cherokee County Schools Board Meeting the Board honored the School Resource Officers for receiving the 2024 TAASRO Team Award. This is a statewide award given to a team committed to school safety.    Superintendent Mike Welsh, said he” appreciates their SRO’s and the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office”.  These men and women are very committed to total safety for the schools, students,teachers and employees.
