Both Senior Sergeant Gilliland and Chief Investigator Blake represented The Children’s Advocacy Center of Cherokee County’s Multidisciplinary Team at the Dallas Crimes Against Children Conference, held in Dallas, Texas.
That 36th Annual Crimes Against Children Conference – had over 5,000 attendees, from 22 different countries, receiving expert training to assist prevention efforts and also investigate and treat crimes against children. This year’s event boasted over 240 speakers, presenting 550 sessions.
The conference provided both cutting-edge, and innovative, training that professionals in our community and around the world – can use to better serve children who have experienced criminal child abuse.
