In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

JONATHAN NICHOLSON, age 38 of Centre – was arrested by Centre Police and is On Hold for Another Agency;  

CANDACE POLLARD, age 39 of Gadsden, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Domestic Violence 3rd Degree;

JOHNATHAN MCCURDY, 43 of Piedmont arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Failure to Appear on the prior charge of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance;

AUDRY GREENWOOD, age 22 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for False Reporting to Law Enforcement;

DESTINY GATLIN, age 31 of Cedar Bluff arrested by Cedar Bluff Police for Failure to Appear on previous charges of Speeding and Improper Passing

And

MEGAN STRAWBRIDGE age 26 of Altoona – was arrested by Centre Police for Failure to Appear – on two prior counts of No Insurance, and also two prior counts of Driving While Suspended.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 111 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
