Mr. Roy Gordon Wade, age 80 of Gaylesville, passed away Friday, August 09th, 2024.
He was survived by his sisters, Mary Garrett and Charlotte Holcomb; nieces and nephews, Marcia Mitchell, Tony (Amy) Garrett, Stacy Dawson, Stephanie (Darrell) McDaniel, and Donald Holcomb; great nephew, Seth Dawson; special friends, Joann Adams, Brad Mackey and One Stop employees.
Mr. Wade was the son of the late Lee and Melvina Rayburn Wade. He retired from Inland in Rome, Ga. and was a member of Mount Bethel Church. He also served two years during the Vietnam War in Korea. He loved his dogs, goats and farm.
A service will be held at a later date.
