In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

APRIL WHITE, age 42 of Centre arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, on two counts of Probation Revocation, and a Violation of Release Conditions;

ALEX JOLLY, age 20 of Centre, arrested by Centre Police on charges of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – and also with Failure to Appear on prior charges  of Expired License and Failure to Display Insurance;

And

DANIEL DOUGHERTY, 49 of Rainbow City – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on the charges of DUI/Driving Under the Influence of Combined Substances and VPL/a Violation of the Prohibition Law.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 111 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
