Mrs.Billie Sue “Toots” Pope, age 80 of Centre, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Gadsden Regional.
A funeral service will be held 3:00PM Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Noah Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00PM until the time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will include grandsons and great grandsons.
She is survived by her husband, Carson Loafman; daughters, Cindy Leighton (Dennis) and Lynn Hamilton; brother, Russell Brannon; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Donnie Pope.
Ms. Pope was a lifelong resident of Alabama and the daughter of the late William Walter and Mary Louise Brannon. She was a longtime member of Centre Congregational Holiness Church.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Centre Congregational Holiness Church.
