Alabama State Troopers responded to a single-vehicle accident just after midnight – at 12:25 Sunday morning – in neighboring DeKalb County.

The mishap occurred on U.S. 11 and involved a 2006 Chevrolet driven by a male from Peoria, Illinois, who was hurt in the wreck, and he was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

That wreck remains under investigation by State Troopers.
