In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

RALPH SWAFFORD – 54 of Centre – was arrested by Centre Police on the charges of – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

NATASHA TERRY, age 42 of Rome, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and charged with Failure to Appear, on the prior charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance – and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

And

BROOKS SHIREY, 48 of Cedar Bluff, arrested by the Alabama Department of Public Safety and charged with DUI/Driving Under the Influence.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 112 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
