In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

JOSHUA WELLS, age 40 of Fort Payne, was arrested by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office and is On Hold for another agency:

KYLIN WILLIAMS, age 30 from Rome, Georgia – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, on Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (two counts) and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Failure to Appear on a prior charge of Speeding (less than 25 mph);

JASON CRAWFORD, age 24 of Centre was arrested by Centre Police on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd Degree;

LACHEL MCGUIRE, age 41 of Gaylesville – was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (two counts) as well as Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and also Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

CHRISTOPHER HONEYCUTT, age 27 of Cedar Bluff, arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of Domestic Violence 3rd Degree;

ROBERT ABERNATHY age 44 of Gaylesville was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, charged with Escape 2nd Degree and three counts of Failure to Appear;

BEVERLY CRANE, age 61 of Altoona was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and charged with: DUI/Driving Under the Influence/Any Substance and also with Resisting Arrest;

DAN WACASTER – age 48 from Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for – DUI/Driving Under the Influence/Controlled Substance;

And

RANDY DANIEL age 68 from Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 113 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
