The Floyd County, Georgia Police Department is currently investigating a home invasion in the Armuchee area, in which two people were injured.

The incident occurred on Old Summerville Road, and a senior citizen and her adult daughter were treated for injuries at a local hospital.  The attack was reportedly between 7:30 and 9:00am, and those suspects left the area after the incident.
