One person was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment following a two-vehicle accident, Monday afternoon at 2:57, on the Chesnut Bypass in Cherokee County. According to Centre Police Reports – that accident involved a 2007 Chevy Tahoe driven by a 38 year old male from the Gaylesville area – and also a 2004 Ford Taurus, being driven by an 84 year old male from Centre.
A 36 year old passenger in the Tahoe was taken for treatment – and we’ll have more information as it becomes available.
The accident remains under investigation.
