In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Previous 24 Hours:

KIMBERLY DANIEL, age 56 of Fort Payne – arrested by Cedar Bluff Police, was charged with Failure to Appear on a previous charge of an Insurance Violation;

ANDY BROWNING, age 32 of Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and is On Hold for Another Agency;

LISA ADKINS, age 35 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Probation Violation;

ROBERT COOK, age 38 of Fort Payne – was listed as being arrested by the Cherokee Police Department for Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle;

VIRGIL UMPHREY, age 43 of Collinsville, was arrested by Leesburg Police and charged with DUI (Driving Under the Influence)/Any Substance;

AMY ARRINGTON, age 48 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident;

And

ZACARY SMITH – age 42 of Centre – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Failure to Appear on the prior charge of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Subject and Failure to Appear on a prior Probation Revocation.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 110 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
