In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Previous 24 Hours:

JEREMY MCGATHA, 32 from Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and charged with Failure to Appear on previous charges of Expired Tag and Improper Lights;

SAVANNAH SMITH, age 24 from Centre, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, on both a Probation Violation – and a Conditional Release Violation;

PAMELA LANE, 58 of Cedartown, Georgia – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree;

And

BRANDON COUCH, 50 of Jacksonville arrested by the Leesburg Police and is Currently On Hold for Another Agency.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 100 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
