According to Cherokee Electric Co-op reports there was a relatively brief power outage taking place around 1:00am Sunday (July 21st) – following an auto accident that took out a Main Three-Phase Power Pole. The mishap reportedly occurred in the Riverside area of Cedar Bluff, and the area behind the Country Store, and also along County Road 131 – was without power for a time.
Electric crews quickly arrived to start that repair process and everything in the area is back to normal.
