This WEIS Radio’s Cherokee County’s Unsung Hero is my doctor. Her name is Dr. Sheri Frickey.

When my wife Carole and I moved to Cherokee County two years ago, we were concerned because we didn’t have a doctor. So, I took a chance and asked on Facebook who are some of the best doctor’s in Cherokee County?

This young man named Matthew Peek answered my question. He gushed about Dr. Frickey who works out of Perry Medical in Centre. Peek, said she is a very special person who goes beyond the responsibilities of a doctor.

So, I told my wife and made appointments with her. Dr. Frickey, has just been excellent with my wife and I. We feel blessed she came into our lives and feel very lucky also.

Dr. Sheri Frickey studied Medicine at Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine and her hometown is Ozello, Florida. Her husband’s name is Doug and she has two children. A daughter Amadea and a son Jace.
