In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Previous 24 Hours:

AMANDA KELLY, age 56 of Cedar Bluff – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office charged with Theft of Property 1st Degree and Possession of Forged Instruments 3rd Degree;

JEREMY HILTON age 38 of Iron City was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of Failure to Appear/Burglary 3rd Degree;

JAMES SHEPARD, age 86 of Gaylesville – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on the charges of Making a Terrorist Threat 1st Degree as well as 8 counts of Revoked Bond;

And

GRETA WASHINGTON, age 56 from Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charged with DUI/Driving Under the Influence.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 94 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
