In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Previous 24 Hours:

KALEB JOHNSON, age 23 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Theft 1st Degree/Vehicle, and with Criminal Mischief 1st Degree;

SHANE WADE, age 41 of Gaylesville was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, on charges of Public Intoxication – and Failure to Appear, on a prior charge of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

And

NICHOLAS JONES, age 31 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Probation Revocation.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 96 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
