An “Active Rescue Mission” – was reportedly conducted Sunday at Little River Canyon Falls Park.

Reports indicate that a male had fallen from the top of the falls, with area emergency teams – Fischer Rescue, Fort Payne Fire, Adamsburg Fire, the National Park and DeKalb Ambulance Service all quickly arriving – ready to provide assistance.  A medical helicopter was also dispatched to the main parking lot.
