In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:
DUSTIN BRIGHT, age 43 of Gaylesville, was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police on charges of Failure to Appear/a No Insurance Violation – and also with Failure to Appear/a Driving While Suspended charge;
EMANUEL KISER, age 47 of Cedar Bluff, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Theft of Property 1st Degree – also Criminal Mischief 1st Degree, Attempting to Elude, Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree – and Burglary 3rd Degree;
ANTHONY GAIDURGIS, age 36 from Centre, was arrested by Centre Police on a charge of Domestic Violence 3rd Degree;
MISTY PHILLIPS, age 52 of Centre – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Hindering Prosecution 2nd Degree;
GREGORY REED, age 51 of Centre – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff‘s Office on charges of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Failure to Appear on an Open Container charge
DARRELL BATES, age 42 of Centre was arrested by Centre Police and was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Failure to Appear/Retail Theft 3rd Degree;
And
JOHNNIE LAIRD, age 45 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police and charged with Discharging a Firearm inside the Town Limits.
Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 94 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
