One person was hurt, in a two-vehicle accident that took place in DeKalb County (Alabama), on Highway 117 – Thursday, July 4th, around 1:25pm.

According to the Alabama State Trooper’s Post, the mishap involved both a 2000 Nissan that was being driven by a male resident of Mentone and a 2005 Harley-Davidson Motorcycle – which was being operated by a male, who was also a resident of Mentone

The driver of the Nissan wasn’t hurt but the motorcyclist had to be taken to an area hospital for treatment immediately afterwards – no additional information regarding his condition has yet been released.

That wreck remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
