In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

DONTAVIOUS STUBBS, age 24 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – on the charge of Failure to Appear, on a previous Probation Revocation;

LEVI PRATHER, age 35 from Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, and with Failure to Appear on a previous charge of Receiving Stolen Property 4th Degree;

ZACKERY RUSSELL, age 33, from Aragon, Georgia – arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Receiving Stolen Property 1st Degree, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Obstructing Justice/False ID (Identification);

JOHNATHAN RAY, age 31 of Section was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Public Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest along with Assault 3rd Degree;

And

NICHOLAS RAY, age 27 of Fort Payne – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, on the charges of Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, Resisting Arrest, Assault 3rd Degree/Police Officer, Disorderly Conduct and Public Intoxication.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 91 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
