In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

DOUGLAS COCHRAN, age 55 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and was charged with two SORNA Violations/the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act);

JIMMY NOLEN, age 49 from Weaver was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on the charges of Failure to Appear/Theft of Property 2nd Degree – and also Failure to Appear/Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance;

JEFFERY BEVELS, age 59 of Fort Payne – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Burglary 3rd Degree – and Theft of Property 2nd Degree;

And

DUSTY ROGERS age 38 from Centre – was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police – and charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 89 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
