Stamp Price Hike Just Around the Corner

If you want to save some money – we suggest buying Stamps NOW!

The price of Forever Stamps, which can be used in perpetuity, regardless of future changes – is set to increase on July 14th – and that new rate will include a 5-cent increase from 68 to 73 cents; stamps last increased back in January, when they rose from 66 to 68 cents; back in 2023, the price of a Forever Stamp rose from 63 to 66 cents.

Now, stamps aren’t the only thing getting more expensive.

Other price changes include:

  • Letters (1 oz.) – 68 cents to 73 cents
  • Letters (metered 1 oz.) – 64 cents to 69 cents
  • Domestic postcards – 53 cents to 56 cents
  • International postcards – $1.55 to $1.65
  • That additional ounce price for a single-piece letter will go from 23 to 28 cents.

At this point, NO price increases are reportedly being proposed for: USPS Ground Advantage, Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express services.

According to the USPS the increase is needed to further its strategic plan, “Delivering for America,” – a 10-year plan that includes a comprehensive overhaul of mail services.
