Funeral service for James Townsend Streett, age 71 of Sand Rock will be Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev Marty Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Sand Rock Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the hour of service at 2:00 pm at Perry Funeral Home. Mr. Streett passed away Sunday, June 30th, 2024 at his home.
Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Sandra Green Streett; two daughters, Jennifer (Brad) Partin, Jessica (Kyle) Rinehart; five grandchildren, Jackson, Kennedy, and Kate Partin, Addilynn and Brooks Rinehart; two sisters, Mary (Tommy) Seales, and Dorothy McCaleb.
Pallbearers will be Ira Green, Brad Partin, Kyle Rinehart, Mark Wright, Danny Bone, and Jimmy Bone. Honorary pallbearers will be Jackson Partin and Brooks Rinehart.
Mr. Streett was retired from the textile industry. He loved his family with his whole heart and was happiest outdoors at the Brown Farm.
Mr. Streett was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Margaret Streett.
