One person was hurt, in a two-vehicle accident in Cherokee County early Friday.
The accident occurred at 8:30am on Highway 411, near the Georgia State line and it involved both a 2000 Ford, being driven by a male from Rome, Georgia and a 2014 Dodge, being driven by a male from Centre.
The Georgia driver was merely shaken up in that mishap – but the driver from Centre had to be taken to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
The cause of that wreck remains under investigation.
