One person was checked out by Atrium-Floyd Ambulance personnel – on the scene for any type of injury – following a two-vehicle wreck taking place on Wednesday morning in Centre.

Both vehicles received damage in that rear-end collision, which occurred around 8:00am in front of the old Centre City Hall building located on East Main Street.

Several occupants were shaken up in that mishap and the exact cause for the wreck remains under investigation.

Centre Police also responded to the scene.
