Two Injuries in Two-Vehicle Cherokee County Wreck Sunday Evening

Both drivers were injured in a two-vehicle accident occurring on Sunday evening in Cherokee County.

According to the Centre Police Department – the mishap involved a 2015 Mercedes 250 – driven by a 19 year old female from Cedar Bluff, and also a 2003 Jeep Liberty being driven by a 55 year old male.  The wreck was near Fairview Church at approximately 8:20pm – sending both drivers to area medical facilities for treatment; the wreck was close to the intersection of Highway 411 and County Road 26.

That incident remains under investigation by the Centre PD.
