One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision in the turn lane of the entrance to the Centre Walmart at approximately 9:50am Friday.
That wreck involved a passenger car and a pick up pulling a large trailer behind it. The truck hit the car broadside, causing extensive damage and injuring the driver, who was rushed to an area trauma center afterwards. The wreck remains under investigation by Centre Police, and ambulance units from Atrium Floyd EMS also quickly responded.
