A female driver of a Chevrolet SUV lost control of the Vehicle on County Road 19 about a mile from County Road 71 Saturday afternoon at 1:50. The vehicle left the roadway and overturned in a field and pasture entrapping the victim. She was extricated from the vehicle by the Cherokee County Rescue Squad assisted by the Mt Weisner Fire Department.
She was transported to Floyd Medical Center in Rome by Atrium Floyd EMS.
The mishap was investigated by officers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
