One person was injured, in a two-vehicle wreck taking place in Cherokee County early Thursday afternoon.
According to the Alabama State Troopers Post in Jacksonville, a collision involving a 2006 Kia and a 2019 Nissan, took place on Alabama Highway 68 at around 1:30pm.
The male driver of the Kia – from Attalla – was unhurt; however a female from Gadsden driving the Nissan, was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
That wreck remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
