Floyd County, Georgia “Gang Member” Facing Charges

Northwest Georgia Alleged Gang Member Charged with Crimes

A 31-year-old Floyd County man – reportedly, a gang member – currently faces charges, in connection with robberies and assaults, which occurred two years ago.

Joshua Nathaniel Danforth of Shannon – shot a 73-year-old woman in the shoulder and took her purse containing $1,200.  That incident occurred on July 28th, 2022 – at a location at 1944 Shorter Avenue.   The victim was also pistol-whipped, and she fell to the ground hitting her face and sustaining an orbital fracture.  Also in July of 2022 Danford held a man against his will at a location on Woods Road – and another suspect struck the victim with a metal object about the head and body.

Danford, purported to be a member of the Ghost Face Gangsters criminal street gang, also used a recorded phone line for a drug deal in October of 2022.

He’s charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery, exploitation of the elderly, the participation in a criminal street gang, the possession of a firearm during the commission of crime, robbery, false imprisonment, battery – and conspiracy to violate Georgia’s Controlled Substances Act.
