In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

JESSE LONG, age 41 from Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Bond Revocation;

JAMES FRIER, age 45 (Unknown), was arrested by Leesburg Police and he was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (on two counts) and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

GARY SMITH. Age 49 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and was charged with Failure to Appear on a prior charge of a Speeding Ticket;

SUSAN JOHNSTON, age 51 of Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Bond Revocation;

ANTHONY HUDGINS, age 26 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Court Order;

SARANDON DUNBAR, age 29 of Piedmont – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Domestic Violence 3rd Degree;

And

JON-KEVON CORDLE, age 37 of Rome, Georgia – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and was charged with Failure to Appear on a prior charge of Giving a False Name to an Officer.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 100 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
