In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

TIMOTHY MCGATHA – age 37 of Dawson, Alabama – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Failure to Appear on a previous charge of Theft by Deception 3rd Degree;

And

HEATHER DAWSON – age 34 of Piedmont – was arrested by Centre Police on a charge of Retail Theft 3rd Degree.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 98 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
