Mrs. Glenda Lee Holcomb, of Centre passed away Sunday, June 9 at her residence. She was a long time member of East Center Baptist church and worked 41 years at Center Manufacturing Company.
She is survived by her husband of almost 33 years, Orvel Lee Holcomb, son Len (Karen) Hogan, daughters Patsy (Gerald) Rainey, and Sandra Hickey. Grandchildren Kandi (Josh) Garmany, Brandon (Andrea) Rainey, and Dustin Rainey, Rebecca, Samantha, and Rachael Prather. Great grandchildren Jackson and Abby Garmany and Clay, Drake, Austin, and Dylan Rainey. Brothers Virgil Inman and Mitchell Inman. Sisters in Law Imogene Hogan and Shirley Inman. A host of nieces and nephews also survived.
She was preceded in death by husbands Earnest “Tater” Hogan and R. G. Sherrod, Daughter LeeAnn Hogan Prather, Parents Rev. Alfred and Audrey Inman, Grandson Zachery Scott, Brothers Roy Oscar Inman and Artie Inman, Sisters Lillie Chase and Brenda Steele.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 11 2:30 pm at Cherokee Memory Garden with Brother Gary Harden officiating. The family will receive friends 1:00-2:00 pm at Perry Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers or food, please make me memorial contributions to the building fund of East Centre Baptist Church.
