In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

MATTHEW SCOTT, 39 from Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and was charged with DUI/Driving Under the Influence of Any Substance, also the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

JEFFERY VASSER, age 35 of Cedar Bluff, arrested by Cedar Bluff Police, on charges of Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct – and Simple Assault 3rd Degree;

And

CARRIE LINDSEY, age 35 of Cedar Bluff, arrested by Cedar Bluff Police, on charges of – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance/Prescription Pills and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 106 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
