In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

JACKIE WOOTEN, age 50 of Fort Payne, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on three counts of Failure to Appear;

And

MICHAEL HONEYCUTT, age 56 of Piedmont was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – on charges of Failure to Appear/Traffic Offenses (two counts) and Failure to Appear on previous charges of Driving While Suspended and Failure to Display Insurance.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 105 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
